 Diane Beam
The Imaginary Universe website was created in 1999 by writer, filmmaker and physicist Diane Beam as a central location for discussions and publications on our place in the universe. Beam has a bachelors degree in physics. She is a film major and graduate degree program candidate at the University of Utah. She has been involved in hundreds of productions as a writer, director, producer, photographer, instructor, lecturer and science advisor.
Beam is the originator, co-producer and co-writer of the Imax Film, Stephen Hawking's Beyond the Horizon. Hawking and Beam co-wrote and produced the science production, Fate of the Universe. Beam is circulating to agents, a book about her ten-year experience working with Professor Hawking and their productions on the subject of modern cosmology.
Beam is the founder and president of Imaginary Universe Inc, a member of iworlds.com advisory board, a member of SETI and a partner in universepartners.net
